Edible insects are growing in popularity as they’ve come to be seen as a new possible solution to food insecurity worldwide. Insect harvesting has now come to a farm near you, in Mirabel. What ethical concerns does this topic bring up? Nicole Proano speaks with Shelley Adamo from Dalhousie University, who researches insect behaviour, and with Brenda Plant from Umamize farms about ethical insect farming practices.
